Q. I am required the English or Japanese translation of all Documents that I will submit to school. Do I have to submit translation by any public organization?
A. In principle, the Immigration Bureau will check your application in Japanese. So if your application has attached documents written in non-Japanese language, Japanese translation will be required. Whether you need to prepare Japanese translation by yourself or not is depends on your school's policy.
In case school requires you to prepare translations, it will be preferable if you can prepare the translation by public organization.
The requirement about the translation will be different between each school. Please ask your school in detail.
